The charger won't overheat if left on for longer than the recommended time. It will automatically shut off and will not damage the battery. If the red light blinks, the battery is likely fine, but it’s a good idea to verify by charging it on the regular charger.

Resuming Charge

If charging is interrupted, such as during a power outage, unplug the charger and the battery, then restart to reset the LED display.
